DAY 1 : ARRIVE DELHI

Early morning take a flight from Cochin and arrive at Delhi International Airport, meet and assist by our representative and proceed to your hotel. Check into your hotel. Delhi, the capital of modern India, has seen the reign of many dynasties and rulers over the last 3000 years. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing tour of Old Delhi.

Old Delhi drive past the Red Fort, the 300-year-old walled city built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1648 as his capital and named after him. The magnificent Red Fort built of red sandstone dates from the very peak of the Mughal power, Opposite the fort are the black and white onion dome and minarets of the Jama Masjid, the most elegant mosque in India. Visit Chandni Chowk Bazaar, drive through the old city subject to traffic restrictions. Enjoy Rickshaw Ride in the by lanes of Old Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat, where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948.

Later visit Akshardham Temple (closed on Monday) Akshardham means the eternal, divine abode of the supreme God, the abode of eternal values and virtues of Akshar as defined in the Vedas and Upanishads where divine bhakti, purity and peace forever pervades.

DAY 2 : DELHI /AGRA

Early morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Agra via express highway (around 3 hours). On arrival check into your hotel and relax. Afternoon proceed for sightseeing tour of Agra.

Visit Taj Mahal ( closed on Friday ), a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Constructed from 1631 to1651 by Shah Jahan as a memorial to his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, the domed mausoleum – built from white marble – is considered one of the most extravagant monuments ever built for love.The Taj Mahal is located on the right bank of the Yamuna River in a vast Mughal garden that encompasses nearly 17 hectares.

Next, proceed to visit 16th-century Agra Fort , built by Emperor Akbar on the banks of the Yamuna River. Admire its construction from red sandstone and its intricate design combining both Islamic and Hindu architectural styles. It indicate the symbol of power, strength and resilience, as it stands today in full glory.

Your city tour ends with a visit to the Tomb of Itmad-ud-daulah built between 1622 and 1628 by Empress Nur Jahan for her father. Admire the marble trelliswork and precious stone inlay of the mausoleum, situated on the opposite bank of the Yamuna from the Taj Mahal.

Day 03 : AGRA / FATEHPUR SIKRI / JAIPUR

Morning after the breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Jaipur (around 5 hours) enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage red sandstone complex of Fatehpur Sikri, built in 1569 by Emperor Akbar. Fatehpur Sikri (the City of Victory) was the capital of the Mughal Empire for only some 10 years.

After visit, continue to Jaipur. Jaipur is situated in Rajasthan the city was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II on 18 November 1727. Jaipur is a land of natural beauty and great history. Also called pink City, it is the capital of Rajasthan. On arrival check into your hotel and relax. Rest of the day free for independent activities.
You can have a traditional Rajasthani dinner at Chokhi dhani.

Day 04 : JAIPUR

Morning after breakfast, proceed to Amber Fort. En route visit HawaMahal – the Palace of the Winds.
Hawa Mahal is the most awe-inspiring sight in the city of Jaipur. It is also known as ‘Palace of winds’ because of its windows that allow the wind to flow in keeping it cool. There are 953 stone-carved screens or windows in the palace. On arrival visit the 16th century Amber Fort.

The Amber Fort, situated in Amber, 11 kilometers from Jaipur, is one of the most famous forts of Rajasthan.This fort is also very popularly known as the Amer Palace. The Amber Fort was built in red sandstone and marble and the Maotha Lake adds a certain charm to the entire Fort. Feel like a maharaja from the past as you ride up to Amber Fort on an elephant outfitted with traditional Indian draperies.
Afternoon, proceed for a city tour visiting the unique Jantar Mantar and the opulent City Palace.

Day 05 : JAIPUR / DELHI

Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Delhi (around 6 hours). On arrival, check into your hotel and relax.

Evening you can go for your personal activities and shopping. The vibrant and exotic atmosphere of Delhi markets can make shopping lots of fun. In fact, Delhi has the best markets in India, with handicrafts from all over the country. If you are interested you can go for a metro rail journey.

Day 06 : DELHI

Morning after breakfast proceed for sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Visit New Delhi beginning with a drive past Safdarjang's Tomb while enroute to the QutabMinar. Qutab Minar is the attractive monument of Delhi which can be seen from most parts of the city. Qutab Minar is among the tallest and famous towers in the world. The minaret is 234 feet high and the highest individual tower in the world. Qutab Minar is great masterpiece of Mughal architecture.

Later visit Humayun's Tomb.This tomb, built in 1570, is of particular cultural significance as it was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. It inspired several major architectural innovations, culminating in the construction of the Taj Mahal. One of the most spectacular Mughal buildings, Humayun's tomb was added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 1993. Built by Haji Begum, the widow of Humanyun, the second Mughal Emperor.

Later drive through the Embassy area, Diplomatic enclave, the India Gate and the Parliament building ( formerly Viceroy's House ).

Day 07 : LEAVE DELHI

Morning after breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Delhi International Airport to board flight for onward destination.
